UNTENURED is seeking digital artwork to accompany pieces in our next issue, due for publication in late summer 2025. Untenured focuses on themes of anti- and post-capitalism, anti-racism, anti-sexism, and equity and equality broadly defined. We are specifically looking for pieces that engage with these themes. Please note we are not accepting AI-generated artwork.
UNTENURED is soliciting fiction submissions between 100 and 5,000 words for our next issue set for publication in late summer 2025.
Specifically, we are looking for fiction of any specific genre that imagines a better world, focusing on stories of hope and/or resilience. We want your boldest, most transgressive work. Consistent with the larger mission of Untenured we strongly encourage authors to engage with this theme from the perspective(s) of antiracism, antifascism, and/or postcapitalism. Please note that we will not accept any stories featuring portrayals of Nazism in a sympathetic light.
